Hermit sits dead in his chair for days with bite marks from his own dogs | Abroad

The police found the man in his home on Friday afternoon, after receiving reports from worried neighbors. He appeared dead in his chair. The man’s body showed multiple bite marks, also from before his death. He had stitches, which he may have applied himself, writes Omroep Gelderland.

It took officers several hours to enter the man’s home. This is partly due to the presence of his three dogs, including a dangerous rottweiler. In addition, there were also other animals such as a cat, a pig, a sheep, four rabbits, two geese and several pigeons. The animals were taken, except for the rottweiler, who had to be put to sleep.

The man is described by local residents as a hermit. He lived withdrawn in his ‘junk house’. The police therefore had to remove a lot of waste. It would mainly concern old iron. A total of three containers were loaded with rubbish.
