This Turku chef’s Christmas calendar inspires us all to cook.

Baked salmon is always delicious, but now it’s taken to a new level. The salmon is coated with Christmas pepper and blue cheese crumbles and honey.
The result is a succulent, sweet and salty and surprisingly easy Christmas treat. With this recipe, a new electronic Christmas calendar will be launched, the announcement says. Until Christmas Eve, an easy recipe will be published on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
The Christmas calendar can be found on the Paras kokkikoulu account, and behind the recipes is a chef and entrepreneur from Turku Jesse Söderlund.
– I am often asked for recipes, so I thought this would be a good way to share them. I want as many people as possible to experience the joy of success in their home kitchen with these, says Söderlund in the press release.
Before the eve, there will be, among other things, a Christmas cake burger.
The idea is to keep the recipes and ingredients simple. Many of the recipes in the Christmas calendar are quick, and the ingredients are readily available and relatively inexpensive.
The best cooking school was founded this fall, and it shares recipes, tips and ideas for home cooking.
In addition to Jesse Söderlund, the team of the cooking school includes the person in charge of photography and editing Jenni Söderlund and food supplier, content producer Heli Nieminen.
