Two Bundesliga clubs are among the 36 clubs that will compete in the newly launched UEFA Europa League in the 2024/2025 season. TSG 1899 Hoffenheim and Eintracht Frankfurt want to collect enough points over the eight matchdays in the league phase in order to then take part in the knockout phase. Where will the matches between 1899 Hoffenheim and Eintracht Frankfurt be shown live on television and stream?
Everything is new in the Europa League this year too! Simultaneously to the Champions League, UEFA’s second-largest club competition will now be held with a field of 36 participants.
After eight match days in the new league phase, the eight best teams qualify directly for the round of 16, while the 16 following teams play the other eight participants in two playoff games. Afterwards, the usual knockout system continues until the final, which will be played in Bilbao on May 21, 2025.

The Europa League will be exclusive this season RTL+* transmitted. The games are shown live as individual games on the streaming platform, and RTL+ also offers a live conference of all matches running at the same time.
