Sports presenter Diletta Leotta, 33, received a special reception at the Fifa event in Miami, British newspaper The Sun news.
Leotta was involved when Fifa drew the initial groups for the Club World Cup held in the summer.
The popular TV face was introduced to the stage by football legend Alessandro Del Piero. However, the Italian star’s welcome was really strange.
– Another Italian in Miami. Another wave of immigrants, Del Piero snapped.
The comment caused a confused reaction from the party crowd, and no one laughed.
Leotta didn’t take Del Piero’s words, but the occasion was continued briskly.
The prize ceremony was also special, as it included, among other things, a video greeting from the future president of the United States, Donald Trump.
