The International Ice Hockey Federation IIHF and the Canadian Ice Hockey Federation Hockey Canada have agreed on the rights to organize the Junior World Championships.

Under the agreement, Canada will host the Under-20 World Cup every two years until 2034.

Next year’s games will be held in Ottawa, the capital of Canada. The 2026 tournament will be played in Minnesota, in the cities of St. Paul and Minneapolis.
