Here in Zoetermeer your child can participate in the NK marbles for free

Do you want to do something different with your children on Wednesday afternoon? Then come to a Zeeman branch in Zoetermeer on 13 April and participate in the Knikkeren National Championships for free.

Preliminary rounds for the Dutch Championship will be organized on 13 April between 14:00 and 15:00 in all Zeeman branches throughout the Netherlands. So also at all six Zeeman branches in Zoetermeer. You can find them in the Buytenwegh shopping center, the Leyens, Rokkeveen, Oosterheem, in the Stadshart and the Dorpsstraat.

Free bag of marbles

Children between the ages of six and twelve can participate in the preliminary rounds. At Zeeman they receive a free bag of marbles, which they can take home afterwards. The two best marbles are selected for each branch. They can go to the final in Ouwehands Dierenpark Rhenen for free with an adult supervisor on 2 July. The NK marbles is an initiative of sports marketing agency House of Sports and will be held for the eighteenth time this year.

Let children play outside more

The goal of the National Championships Knikkeren is to let children play outside more. Research by Jantje Beton in 2020 shows that children still play far too little outside. Preliminary rounds are organized to encourage children to go outside again.
