José Komin is director of a cooling technical installation company and is enthusiastic about the experiment of the municipality. “Our engineers occasionally go crazy about the crowds in the city. They sometimes cannot lose their bus and are stuck for a long time. There are advantages to such a smaller vehicle.”
But there will also be disadvantages, Komin admits. “It might be a hassle to put the bus away and switch. We are going to see it,” she says. Whether she would rather avoid the center completely? “Our customers are often in the center, so that is not possible.”
There is a shortage of technicians throughout the country. The question arises whether technicians will not choose to look for their jobs somewhere else because of all the restrictions and will avoid the center. After all, there is enough work in other places. “Yes, that is a lot of thought,” it agrees “Until now we see that many engineers are looking for parking spaces and the high parking costs. This actually offers a solution.”
