The tango market semifinal was held today, Saturday, May 21, at the Martinus Culture House in Vantaa. The jury selected eight finalists from among 16 semi-finalists.
The titles of the Tango Kings will compete in the finals Sari Tuliniemi, Keijo Hietikko, Hanne Kivioja, Lauri Ketonen, Heta Halonen, Tomi Kuusela, Hanna Hirvonen and Janne Marja-aho.
Nina Tapio, Chair of the Jury, Marco Bjurström, Dance Teacher, Tango King of the Year 2010, will sit on the Tango Jury Marko Maunukselasinger Hanna Pakarinen and a representative of Universal Music Group Marja Kokko.
The final of the Tango Market will take place in Seinäjoki on 7-9. July, when the new tango royals will be crowned.
