She feels just as comfortable on the catwalk as she does on the tartan track!
400-meter runner Alica Schmidt (23) is currently one of the stars of Milan Fashion Week. The hottest designers in the world will be presenting their latest collections in the Italian fashion metropolis until Monday.
And Schmidt is right in the middle!
On her Instagram channel, the Berliner presents her 3.2 million followers with photos of her walking down the catwalk in a white Boss winter outfit. In addition, she provides insights behind the scenes of the fashion show, posts photos of the make-up, the hair styling and the after-show party.
Other stars also enjoy the glamor week in Milan! At Fashion Week, Schmidt met former heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua (32) and Formula 1 driver Lance Stroll (23). Schmidt also publishes photos with model icon Naomi Campbell (52) and US rapper Future (38).
Background to Schmidt’s participation in Fashion Week: The Instagram star has a sponsorship contract with Hugo Boss and also runs her 400-meter race with patches. Last year Schmidt gave her model premiere in Milan, at the time she also ran for the German fashion company from Metzingen.
Now the second appearance on one of the most important catwalks in the world! Schmidt also poses next to boss Daniel Grieder (60) in an Instagram photo.
Schmidt also works in terms of sport!
In August, the DLV nominated the sprinter from SC Charlottenburg for the home European Championships in Munich, where Schmidt was eliminated in the semi-finals.

At the German indoor championships in Leipzig at the end of February, she won silver over 400 meters, at the end of May she won the athletics meeting in Grosseto, Italy (about 200 kilometers north of Rome) and at the German finals in Berlin at the end of June she came third.
