Henri-Lloyd appoints Kestin Hare as creative director

Kestin Hare is the new creative director of British brand Henri-Lloyd. The appointment of the Scottish designer marks the start of a new chapter for the British brand, which celebrates its 60th anniversary this year.

In a post on the LinkedIn careers network, the traditional brand, which is particularly well known for functional sailing clothing, announced on Wednesday that it would return to wholesale in addition to Hare’s appointment. Henri-Lloyd has been part of the brand portfolio of clothing supplier Odlo International AG since July.

Hare is the founder and designer of menswear brand Kestin. In his new role as Henri-Lloyd’s creative director, he will design high-quality sportswear collections that draw on the brand’s heritage. The designer will present his first collection for the traditional brand, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, for autumn/winter 2024.

“We are delighted to announce Kestin Hare as Creative Director of Henri-Lloyd and together define the future chapters of Henri-Lloyd’s rich heritage in product engineering and craftsmanship,” said Graham Allen, CEO of Henri-Lloyd.
