A vehicle was run into the Langestraat in Alkmaar around 11.45 am this afternoon. The busy shopping street was full of the public that had to divert. The driver has been arrested. It is unknown what the vehicle is. As far as we know, nobody was injured.
The police are investigating the incident and witnesses, among others, a German -speaking woman who can be seen on camera images, to report.
