It is yet another celebrity who falls from his pedestal: Tygo Gernandt. He was guilty of domestic violence, according to a video distributed by his ex-girlfriend Dianne van den Eng. She was forced to reveal the video yesterday because he denied domestic violence after a carefully prepared publication by Privé.

‘Images too expensive!’

The Tygo video has been discussed and shown in several TV programs, but Hélène Hendriks consciously chose not to show the images last night. “We had the choice whether to show the images or not. We chose not to do that, also because they were expensive,” she explained.

And that turns out to be an outright lie that Private Boss Evert Santegoeds is quite pissed off about, because Hélène is suggesting that the girl is in it for the money and that is therefore patently untrue. “I really want to say something about that, because the girl in question never asked or received 1 euro or nothing at all,” he said a little later in Shownieuws.

Hélène says sorry

Hélène is going up now X through the dust. “Ah, that could have been a little better last night. To be clear: The victim in Tygo’s images certainly did not ask for money. If it somehow came across that way… Sorry. 🙏🏻”

She said it was a joke. “Most people also understood Rutger’s winking comment to me and back, but if it came across differently and suggested that the girl asked for money for it, I wanted to make it clear that that is not the case.”

‘She just shouts’

According to Evert, Hélène will also make a correction on the broadcast tonight. “Hélène Hendriks also shouts something. I understand from her that she will correct that on the air tonight, because Dianne never received any money. Never asked for a euro, never received a euro. That will take on a life of its own,” he says in the podcast Strictly Private.

“The consideration that she would do it for the money is a very bad one. No other stories should be made because you don’t know what’s going on and you didn’t call me, because that’s the pot calling the kettle.”
