Bang for minutes during the relegation final of the Bundesliga: Heidenheim’s goalkeeper Müller stayed on the lawn for a long time after a collision. Some fans called for a game of the game.

The Bundesliga game between the 1st FC Heidenheim and VfL Bochum has been overshadowed by goalkeeper Kevin Müller. Heidenheim’s goalkeeper was collapsed shortly after the beginning of the second half with an air duel with Ibrahima Sissoko and had to be treated medically for around ten minutes. In the 60th minute, replacement player Frank Feller came into the goal for him.

During the first aid measures, the 34-year-old, the treating paramedics and the team doctors were shielded with privacy screen. Then Müller was driven off the field with a stretcher.

The silence in the stadium was repeatedly interrupted with encouraging “Kevin Müller” calls and applause from the football fans of both teams. Occasional calls were also heard from the stands after a game cancel.
