After the violent clash in the Bundesliga game against VfL Bochum, Heidenheim’s goalkeeper Kevin Müller was released from the hospital on Monday and thanks emotional words for help and support. In his special thanks to his wife, the 34 -year -old professional reported about details on how he has been in the past few days.

His wife was always by his side. “Regardless of whether I had to hand over the sixth or seventh, whether I was in the corner somewhere in the corner and you had to scratch me up or I was so dizzy that I didn’t even know the year we were,” wrote Müller on social media. “Thank you for always with me – I love you.”

To do this, he posted a picture of how he sits on the sofa with a patch on the forehead and stretched both thumbs up. “In any case, it goes in the right direction and I hope to be able to stand on the pitch with the boys soon,” continued Müller.

On Friday evening, Müller had suffered a severe concussion in the relegation battle duel between his 1st FC Heidenheim and VfL Bochum (0-0). He collided with opponent Ibrahima Sissoko and initially remained unconscious. The goalkeeper was treated on the lawn for more than ten minutes, the game was interrupted. Under encouraging “Kevin Müller” calls from both fan camps, Müller was then removed with a stretcher and brought to the Heidenheim Clinic.

In addition to expressly thanks to his primary care providers, teammate Tim Siersleben and doctor Udo Tiefenbacher, Müller greeted greetings to VfL Bochum. In the duel, Bochum’s attacker Philipp Hofmann had seriously injured himself in a collision. The striker suffered a broken rib, which subsequently triggered a lung collapse.
