According to ESPN, Hedwiges Maduro’s transition is final. The former Ajax player will be assistant to head coach Maurice Steijn. Maduro comes over from Almere City FC with which he was promoted to the premier league last Sunday.
Maduro still has a contract in Almere until mid-2024. As a result, Ajax has to pay a lump sum.
Ajax DNA
In recent months, the Ajax DNA has been regularly discussed. Maduro has a past at Ajax. He played in the youth academy of the team from Amsterdam and played in Ajax’s main force from 2004 to 2007. He then played for Valencia, Sevilla, PAOK Saloniki, FC Groningen and Omonia Nicosia.
