In the draw for the Champions League Futsal, Hovocubo has been placed in the group with defending champion FC Barcelona, among other things. The national champion from Hoorn will also play against FK Dobovec from Slovenia and Luxol St. Andrews from Malta.
In FC Barcelona, Sander van Dijk’s team will meet the champion of the last edition of the Champions League. The Spaniards are also a four-time winner of the tournament (2012, 2014, 2020, 2022). Last season, Barcelona also managed to seize the league title and won the Spanish Cup.

The other two teams in the group are FK Dobovec and Luxol St Andrews. Dobovec became champion in Slovenia last season and Luxol was the best in Malta. Based on coefficients, Hovocubo was certain in advance of participating in the main round of the tournament. The top three teams from this round advance to the elite round.
All matches in the group will be played between October 25 and 30. Luxol St Andrews will host. All matches are therefore played in Malta.
