Heavy Brand affects waste processing company Vanheede in Spiere-Helkijn: cloud of smoke 20 kilometers away

Firefighters of fifteen posts have been fighting a blazing fire in the waste processing company Vanheede since Monday morning, at the industrial park in the West Flemish Spiere-Helkijn. Two firefighters were caught by the heat, in the nearby Mouscron the Municipal Ramp Plan was started.
