The scarcity of water puts a strain on the lives of many animals that live free. Not only dogs and cats, but also wild animals and birds that in the arid periods make a great effort to find a drink.

“Homeless animals, with the prolonged absence of rain, can’t even drink from the places where they are usually used to do so,” explains Rosati. «Giving a drink to those who are thirsty, whatever species they belong to, is never a waste of water. The real wastes to avoid are others, for example being careful to turn off the tap when we brush our teeth or while we soap ourselves».
