An eye scan can determine with 70 to 80 percent certainty whether someone is at risk of having a heart attack within a year. Researchers from KU Leuven and from Great Britain, China and the US have developed a system that uses artificial intelligence (AI). Within two to four years, not only doctors and hospitals would be able to buy it, but also high-street eyewear stores.
