“He missed an opportunity to remain silent”: Nicole De Moor (CD&V) lashes out at Tom Van Grieken (VB) who wants to send Syrians back immediately

Our country has put all pending asylum applications from Syrians in Belgium on hold after the fall of the regime of dictator Bashar al-Assad. Resigning State Secretary for Asylum and Migration Nicole de Moor (CD&V) confirmed this in ‘Terzake’. She also immediately lashed out at Flemish Interest Chairman Tom Van Grieken, who did not want to wait and advocated on social media for Syrians to be sent back immediately. She did so in no uncertain terms.
