Haute Couture Fashion Show Calendar 2023: how to see them online

D.traditionally, July is the month of Haute Couture fashion shows from Paris. And this year’s calendar – the stylists will present the collections Autumn-Winter 2022/2023 from Monday 4 on Thursday July 7 – is rich in appointments. After the stops and starts due to the pandemic, the designers are preparing to show their most sumptuous collections in attendance. And there are also those who opt for exclusive appointments outside the Ville Lumiere.

How to watch the Haute Couture 2023 fashion shows in streaming

The common goal of every self-respecting Haute Couture show? Make you dream. And if there is a week that focuses on the surprise effect, starting from the clothes to get to the locations, it is precisely that of Haute Couture: the most exclusive, reserved for professionals and famous stars. A reason to follow it with a keen eye: how to do it? The platform of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (FHCM), the governing body of French haute couture, makes the video streaming of the shows. Instead, each brand focuses on social channels, on its own website and on YouTube: just know the calendar and tune in at the right time.

Advances and defections

They are well 29 the collections appearing in the official schedule Paris. To kick off on Monday 4th July, Schiaparelli And Christian Dior; July 5 will be the turn of Chanel in the morning and Giorgio Armani Privé in the evening; the appointment with the Couture of Balenciaga is scheduled for July 6 (at the same time as the ribbon cutting of a dedicated boutique at number 10 avenue George V in Paris) while at the end of the 7th fashion show Fendi. Thanks to the war in Ukraine, two Russian Maison are not on the calendar that have always paraded in Paris, Ulyana Sergeenko and Janina Couture; the veteran Azzaro is also missing. On the other hand, it comes from Spain Juana Martinwith its first appearance on the official calendar, e Maison Margiela is back live. All show up except Christophe Josse and Maison Rabih Kayroux, who opt for presentations. To anticipate the Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture Autumn-Winter 2022/2023, the French Paco Rabanne, Patou and Maison Alaïa, who present their women’s ready-to-wear collections on Sunday 3 July.

Eyes on Italian Haute Couture

To close, two unmissable Italian events: the fashion show of Valentino in Rome and that of Dolce & Gabbana in Syracuse. The first, presented with an institutional press conference, will be held in Trinità dei Monti and Piazza Mignanelli: from the title itself The Beginning, promises a new beginning for the Maison and the city. In fact, the collaboration will allow for the conservation and care of the archaeological site of the Baths of Caracalla, where the private post-event dinner will be held. Among the guests, students from 5 fashion schools of the territory; and to bring Couture even closer to the public, theopening of the Maison Valentino Archive from 10 to 12 July.

The Sicilian duo, on the other hand, goes back to their origins, involving Syracuse and the nearby Marzamemi in the celebrations. The parade will be held in the seaside village and in the capital, between Piazza Duomo, the castle of Maniace and the Greek theatre: the most evocative spaces to present, as usual, the collections of Haute Couture (women), Haute Couture (men), Haute Jewelery and Haute Horlogerie.
