Hatenboer has been told by the KNVB that he has been suspended for three matches, one of which is conditional. The 20-year-old midfielder will therefore first miss the cup match against Almere City on Wednesday and the league match against Excelsior on Saturday.
Excelsior is Hatenboer’s old club. The Rotterdam team received about 2.5 million euros from the Belgian Anderlecht for the transfer a year ago.
