The Civitas Christiana Foundation is going to remove all its statements about Pim Lammers. The writer, who grew up in Norg, went to court because the extremely conservative Christian Foundation Lammers and his texts repeatedly associated with pedophilia.
In 2023, Lammers was threatened with death after similar allegations of the foundation and by influencers on social media. Both parties have made this scheme with each other.
“I am glad that this chapter is finally closed, I will now fully focus on my next book, a bundle of poems about love,” Lammers says in a response. “Because if the past two years have taught me something, then it is that this world can use a little more love.”
The poet was appointed to write the Children’s Book Week poem in 2023. However, he withdrew because he received death threats in response to fragments from a literary story for adults that Lammers wrote in 2015, about the relationship between a teenage boy and his trainer.
Lammers was the youngest winner of a Silver Granger Ever in 2018, for his picture book The lamb that is a pig.
