The announcement of a concert at the Orpheum Theater in his hometown of Memphis (Tennessee) on Friday (January 19th) made it clear: Justin Timberlake is back.

There were first rumors last year that the singer would record a new record. It could appear soon, as Timberlake may have already hinted at the title of a first single with a cryptic image on Instagram.

On Wednesday (January 17), the musician posted a missing person’s report showing what appeared to be a music video set and a hard drive labeled “EITIW.” Timberlake also captioned the post “EITIW.”

Timberlake song title “Everything I Thought It Was”?

As Billboard now reports, fans suspect that the single could be called ‘Everything I Thought It Was’. Background: Reddit users tracked down a trademark application filed for this title early last year by a mysterious person/group/organization called LLC. There was also a registration for “Everything I Thought It Was…A Sonic Film.”

Of course, all of this is nothing more than speculation. But the fact is that Justin Timberlake’s last album was six years ago. “Man Of The Woods” was released in 2018.
