Stefan Kuntz, faced with the criticism of the press after the Armenia match, asked: “What are they criticizing?” asked. It seems like we are not the ones who lost to the Faroe Islands, drew with Luxembourg, and barely saved a draw against Armenia in the last year.
What are we criticizing? While even one of the above results is a reason for resignation in itself, acting as if nothing had happened, our inability to make a team with the strong generation we have, the lack of fairness in the selection of the squad, mistakes in reading the game and making changes… Let’s name which one.
Stefan Kuntz promised systematic development but could not make even an inch of progress. Instead, he chose to say things like “This is the current reality of the team”, “Turkish football does not have an academy”. Did the Germans look at the tears of Hansi Flick, the coach of the national team, who lost 4-1 in the friendly match against Japan? Then he said, “What are we criticizing? !”.
