It will be his first live performance since completing the “Love On Tour” in July 2023. New material included.
After almost three years off the stage, Harry Styles will appear at the Brit Awards in Manchester on February 28, 2026. It is his first live performance since completing his “Love On Tour” in July 2023. The event also serves as a platform for the world premiere of songs from his new album “Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally.”, which will be released on March 6th.
In addition to Styles, only Olivia Dean has so far been confirmed as another artist for the award show. For fans who were unable to obtain tickets for previous tours, the publicly broadcast performance offers one of the few opportunities to experience the musician live again.
“Together, Together” world tour with special concept
The announcement of the Brit Awards appearance came a week after the announcement of his 2026 world tour. The unusual concept calls for just seven cities, with the focus being a 50-day residency at Madison Square Garden in New York. This series of concerts represents a unique record for the arena.
Advance sales for the New York concerts also set new standards: 11.5 million people registered for the presale phase. This marks both the highest presale interest ever recorded for an act in New York City and the largest presale registration for a residency concert series worldwide.
With a capacity of around 540,000 available tickets for all 50 shows, this results in a ratio of more than 20 interested parties per ticket. Mathematically, Styles would have to perform around 650 additional concerts in the arena to accommodate all registered fans.
Criticism of ticket prices and sales process
The high demand for the worldwide shows led to long digital queues and discontent among fans. During presales, buyers were informed that ticket prices were set in advance by the tour operator and ranged from $50 to $1,182.40 including service fees. These prices remain constant throughout all sales phases and do not apply to separate VIP packages.
General ticket sales are scheduled for January 30th and February 4th. Availability is estimated to be extremely limited due to the discrepancy between demand and supply.
Industry observers assume that additional tour dates could be added in 2027 to meet the high international demand.

New album: “Aperture” as the first single
In an interview with John Mayer on SiriusXM, Styles opened up about his upcoming album’s lead single “Aperture.” The song was the last song created during the recording sessions and represents the moment of greatest creative freedom in the production process.
“It’s the first song I play to people when I show them what the new music sounds like,” explained the Brit. The thematic focus on opening and new beginnings influenced the decision for “Aperture” as the first single. The concept of a transition and entering a new phase is central to the entire album.
In recent years he has consciously changed his perspective and traveled to other artists’ concerts, Styles continued. “The most important thing was to be on the other side of the audience,” he said in the interview. He neglected the experience of dancing in a crowd and singing with strangers during his intensive tour times.
This change of perspective had a lasting influence on his musical work. Direct contact with the live experience from the viewer’s perspective was essential for the development of the new material.
LCD sound system as artistic inspiration
Harry Styles told the BBC that two LCD Soundsystem concerts were formative experiences. He saw the band at a festival in Madrid and later in Brixton. He was particularly impressed by the complete dedication of the musicians at the moment of the performance.
“When you watch them immerse themselves in it, you think: This is exactly how I want to feel when I’m on stage,” Styles said. This observation had a direct influence on the music he subsequently composed.
