To zero again: Kane meets the next Tuchel victory

The ex-Bayern trainer fetches the second win with England in the second game. The competitive victory against Latvia will bring the Three Lions of the World Cup closer next year.
The English national team also successfully designed their second game under coach Thomas Tuchel. In the Wembley Stadium, the team confidently prevailed against Latvia in front of around 80,000 spectators with 3: 0 (1-0) and thus stays in the qualification group K on course towards World Cup 2026.
Reece James put the Three Lions in the lead with his first international goal. The defender hit the corner in the 38th minute with a wonderful free kick and thus caused great jubilation at Tuchel, who clenched the fist on the sidelines. In the further course, Bayern striker Harry Kane increased to 2-0 in the 68th minute before Eberechi Eze also provided the final score in the 76th minute.
Tuchel, who actively coaches his team from the sidelines and was silent again at the hymn, had made four changes in the starting eleven last Friday compared to the 2-0 victory against Albania.
The English initially struggled, despite a lot of possession of the ball, there were clear chances. In the 19th minute, the hosts were also lucky when Vladislavs Gutkovski missed the empty goal after a misunderstanding between Marc Guéhi and goalkeeper Jordan Pickford from an acute angle.
With increasing playing time, however, the Tuchel team found better solutions against the defensively set Latvians and was finally rewarded for their patience.
For Tuchel, who had taken over the Three Lions at the beginning of the year and is observed by the media, especially after his harsh criticism of predecessor Gareth Southgate, the next qualification game on June 7th in Andorra is coming up.
