Ke Huy Quan (also known as Jonathan Ke Quan) rose to fame as a child actor in 1984, including playing Short Round opposite Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. 39 years later, on the night of March 12, he won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in Everything Everywhere All At Once. A sensation, because Quan was completely unsubscribed after Richard Donner’s “Goonies” from 1985 at the latest. And Harrison “You better call him Dr. Jones” Ford personally presented him with the coveted film prize. This caused emotional moments on stage.

Harrison Ford and Ke Huy Quan already caused a stir on the Internet in September 2022: when they happened to meet at Disney’s D23 trade fair and posed for a photo. A reunion after 38 years. Ford attended the fair to promote “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” while Quan was present to cast “Loki” (Season 2).
