Harri Heliövaara and Henry Patten have advanced to the finals of the London ATP tournament. Heliövaara and Patten knocked down the American in Saturday’s semi-final match by Christian Harrison and British Neal Skupski lot 2–1.
Heliövaara and Patten, ranked number one in the tournament, started the semi-final sharply, when the opening set went to them 6–4. Harrison and Skupski turned the tide in the second set (3–6). The decision was made in a tiebreak, which Heliövaara and Patten won 10–3.
The Finnish-British duo will meet an El Salvadorian in the final Marcelo Arévalon and Croatian Mate Pavic.
The doubles final of the London ATP tournament takes place immediately after the singles final. The climax of the doubles match between the Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo and the American Tommy Paul starts on Sunday at 15:30 Finnish time.
