To understand what Harley Davidson really means, you have to ride a Harley-Davidson. Seen this way from the outside it might seem a simple piece of iron with a handlebar and two wheels, stylish according to taste, but very far from the effective dynamics that a grand tourer can offer. Unmistakably American style, sleek lines and character to spare. The Nightster also stands out immediately for its true custom proportions, with the 19 ”front wheel dominating the road, the engine clearly visible and the low tail, but under those so classic lines there are many surprising technical innovations. In fact, unlike what we’ve always been used to, the teardrop tank bearing the name of the Milwaukee house is just a cover for the airbox. The real tank is located in front of the rear tire, exactly under the saddle, so as to centralize the masses, lower the center of gravity and improve the balance of the bike, giving a feeling of lightness without distorting the design. Among the most exciting details is also the profile of the exhaust with the two manifolds that come together in a single very straight silencer quite detached from the ground to streamline the trim and increase the lean angle.

The soul of every Harley is the engine: this Stars and Stripes novelty features the new liquid-cooled Revolution Max 875T twin-cylinder equipped with electronic injection and a great boost in the bass to thrill the driver. The maximum power is 89 HP at 7,500 rpm, while the torque reaches 95 Nm at 5,750 rpm. In order to contain the masses, in addition to the use of light materials, the engine has a load-bearing function and, in fact, the main frame in steel tubes is concentrated in the front part where the fork with traditional stanchions also stands out, while at the rear they are beautiful. having regard to the two shock absorbers.

In fact, as standard, there is also traction control with intervention based on the mode inserted, the management of the engine brake and the ABS, so as to face any road and any weather condition in the utmost safety and serenity. In order not to deviate too much from the traditionality of the brand, the analog dashboard for speed has been maintained, while a 4 ”LCD display is present to manage the electronic settings and get other information while driving.
