On the occasion of Eintracht Braunschweig-Heidenheim, a 2.Bundesliga match that finished 2-0 in favor of the home team, something really special happened.
Before the match and before leaving for Hamburg for the game against St. Pauli, the ultras Hannover 96 broke into the stadium of rivals Eintracht Braunschweig and engraved the number “96” in the midfield circle.
The workers tried to mend the tear, but couldn’t, so they decided to write around the midfield circle “Nein, danke”. No thanks, complete with an X to cross out number 96.
