Hannover 96: Stefan Leitl is missing something in Bayern loan Bright Arrey-Mbi

Bayern loan behind

Bright Arrey-Mbi (20), who was loaned to Hannover 96 by FC Bayern, is initially behind in Lower Saxony. “At Bright at the moment, something is missing. It’s not quite as relaxed and fresh as it was in the first half of the season. He has to work for that again,” said coach Stefan Leitl from the “Picturequoted. Arrey-Mbi is used sporadically, most recently he was on the bench for 90 minutes against Sandhausen (3-1).

The former DFB junior has made 96 appearances in ten games across all competitions this season, and he was allowed to start eight times. In seven other games he was part of the squad, but was not substituted on. He is expected to be in the squad for the upcoming game at Hamburger SV on Saturday (1 p.m.).

When Arrey-Mbi became a regular at the end of the first half of the season, a report circulated that 96 wanted to keep the loanee at the club beyond the end of the season. The daily newspaper “Neue Presse” reported that the second division club will make use of its purchase option. “We want to have Bright,” said 96 boss Martin Kind at the time. Accordingly, the fee for the left foot is 500,000 euros, previously it was said that the option can only be activated in the event of a promotion.

Against HSV: Instead of Bright Arrey-Mbi youngster Yannik Lührs in the 96 team?

The defender’s market value is currently around one million euros; only Phil Neumann (25) is valued higher among the central defenders in the squad. In addition to Neumann, Luka Krajnc (28) and Julian Börner (32) were given preference over Arrey-Mbi in the back three. Because Börner is suspended because of his fifth yellow card, Leitl has to change his defensive line. However, not Arrey-Mbi, but youngster Yannik Lührs (19) could get a chance. The “image” speculated about a starting XI for the junior international. “Yannik is extremely reliable, not only in training sessions but also in friendly matches,” said Leitl.
