The German climber Hannah Meul won the silver medal in bouldering at the European Championships.
The 21-year-old athlete from the German Alpine Club (DAV) celebrated the greatest success of her young career in Munich and was only beaten by exceptional athlete Janja Garnbret from Slovenia in the final of the top six. Bronze went to France’s Oriane Bertone.
In the final round, Meul climbed two of the four routes to the top, the highest hold on the 4.5 meter high wall.
