The photo was taken on the corner of Sint Jansstraat-Kromme Elleboog, “writes Wim Sanders.” On the right was the Veco van Auke van der Velde bookstore and on the left Café-Restaurant Ambergen. Opposite Veco, on the corner with the Kromme Elleboog, lived the sexton of the Roman Catholic Church, Mr Keuenhof. ”
