After a weak start with many mistakes on offense, the DHB selection was able to turn the tide in the first half. There was a moment of shock in the stands.

Shortly before half-time in Germany’s World Cup game against Switzerland there was a medical intervention. ZDF commentator Martin Schneider reported during the live broadcast about a spectator who collapsed in the stands.

The mood in the final seconds in the hall in Herning (Denmark) with the score at 15:14 for Germany was therefore somewhat more cautious, he reported.

A short time later, however, the situation seemed to have improved. t-online reporter Nils Kögler reported from the scene that the affected viewer was stable again. The elderly woman was escorted from the interior of the hall by paramedics, but was able to walk independently.
