Berlin oppressively superior

In the first phase of the game, Berlin benefited from the fact that goalkeeper Dejan Milosavljev was equal to Kiel’s attempts from the seven -meter line. The record supercup winner failed three times in a row.

Completely changed picture after the break

At the beginning of the second half, a completely changed team from Schleswig-Holstein came to the cabin. Coach Filip Jicha and his staff seem to have found the right words and measures: Kiel threw four goals in a row that Berlin rubbed his eyes when the score suddenly stood 23:23 on the scoreboard.

And in this section of the game, too, a keeper was reason for the game development: Andreas Wolff ran in the Kiel Tor for top form, and the foxes put its litters on the post several times.

Herburger escapes disqualification

Five minutes before the end of the game, Kiels Eric Johansson went to the ground in an attack – and the referees had to strive for video evidence: Had Lukas Herburger met the Swedes on his face? After an intensive study of the video recording, the referees referred to a punishment.

In the final phase, none of the teams could settle: 38 seconds before the end of the game it was 31:31. And eleven seconds before the final siren, the referees were again on the video powder: Kiels Lukas Laube had to get off the plate for two minutes. But the decisive goal was no longer.

Lasse Ludwig records the victory

In seven -meter throwing, the foxes caught the better end: world handball player Mathias Gidsel failed to Andreas Wolff. But Milosavljev also showed a world -class performance. Berlin’s goalkeeper Lasse Ludwig then parried the decisive seven meter in the end. It is the second Supercup title of Berliners in their club history.
