The Rhein-Neckar Löwen made a successful restart in the Handball Bundesliga and caught up with leaders Füchse Berlin with a win in Minden.

At the start of the 19th matchday in the Handball Bundesliga, the lions easily lived up to their role as favorites at GWD Minden and clearly won the penultimate game with 40:29 (20:16).

Rhein-Neckar Löwen level with Berlin

Coach Sebastian Hinze’s team has now drawn 31 plus points with Füchsen Berlin at the top of the table, the Berliners will compete against ASV Hamm-Westfalen at the bottom on Sunday.

National player Patrick Groetzki was the outstanding actor of the lions with ten goals and a perfect shooting rate.
