Han Kjøbenhavn opens flagship – London follows Copenhagen

Danish brand Han Kjøbenhavn opens its first store in London.

Only a month ago, the first flagship opened in the hometown of Copenhagen, Han Kjøbenhavn announced on Linkedin. Now it seems as if the second location is already in preparation.

In an Instagram story by stylist Uly Gold shared by Han Kjøbenhavn, a store front can be seen with a sign of the brand. The post is captioned: “I spy @hankjobenhavn in Soho, London, UK.” The picture shows a ladder in the store and it looks like the interior is being worked on. However, further details about the opening are not yet known.

Flagship in Copenhagen

The recently opened flagship in Copenhagen integrates technology into design. The rather simple room is decorated in gray and white. One side of the store consists of large screen walls playing visual effects like fire, facing the collection on the plain side of the store. According to the Linkedin post, this should make the store a place where art, culture and aesthetics merge.

“Physical retail needs to evolve to stay relevant to people. We have come to a point where we believe the time is right for a change and a new way of experiencing physical retail,” says Daniel Søndergaard Hummel, CEO at Han Kjøbenhavn. “Our focus We have focused on creating a space capable of change and constantly conveying new feelings and experiences.”

The flagship store in Copenhagen is located at Pilestræde 30.

Han Kjøbenhavn was founded by creative director Jannik Wikkelsø Davidsen. The brand offers women’s and men’s clothing and accessories.
