“We have to stop that everything is perfect when Lewis had a good weekend or that everything is a disaster when it is not a good weekend,” said Scdueria-Capo Fred Vasseur after the Grand Prix of the Emilia-Romagna.

“Every single driver works on himself, works with the team and tries to develop something, tries to do a better job,” said Vasseur. “It is not the case that he (Hamilton, Note D.Red.) Is not well prepared on Saturday evening, is not in good shape by car and is a magician on Sunday and everything is perfect. We have to stay calm,” said the Frenchman.
Of course, Ferrari had to improve the “communication, understanding the processes and the tools and software to us all of this,” admitted Vasseur. Hamilton had already “done a very good job in China and now also in Imola,” said the team leader. “We will get there step by step.”

Hamilton itself has already mentally moved the season into another category in view of the big behind Ferraris. 2025 is a “basic year” in order to prepare for the comprehensive control changes (especially new engines), which will apply in Formula 1 from 2026.
