Hallescher FC defies long manpower in Ristic debut

Hallesche FC, threatened with relegation, celebrated their first away win of the season on the debut of coach Sreto Ristic in the 3rd division and gave up the Red Lantern.

Against VfB Oldenburg, the Ristic-Elf won 1-0 (0-0) despite being outnumbered for a good 60 minutes and got the first three after seven unsuccessful games in a row.

Niklas Kreuzer (51st, penalty kick) ensured the guests’ success in Hanover after Aljaz Casar had been sent off with a yellow-red card after just 29 minutes.

With 20 points, Halle is in 18th place in the table, just behind Oldenburg. The new taillight is SV Meppen.
