Haglöfs has a new Head of Sales for Central and Western Europe.
The Swedish outdoor brand appointed Carina von Schrottenberg into the newly created position of the Head of Sales Central & Western Europe, said Haglöfs on Wednesday. In this position, which she starts on August 1st, Schrottenberg will in future take responsibility for the markets of Germany, Austria, Benelux and France.
As the Head of Sales, Schrottenberg will control the expansion of the inpatient outdoor and sports trade, strengthen retail partnerships and expand the brand presence in premium distribution, according to the message. The focus is on the cross-channel closure between wholesale, e-commerce and your own retail store.
“With Carina we gain an experienced leader that our ambitions in the Central European market not only share, but will also promote the necessary strategic depth and operational excellence,” says Andreas Lorenz, Chief Operating Officer from Haglöfs. “Your understanding of brand -compliant sales work, your proximity to trade and your view of meaningful scaling make you an ideal line -up for this role.”
Schrottenberg’s previous experience includes stations among the sports artists Adidas and Puma. At Adidas she worked in various sales positions for around ten years before she worked as a Head of Golf at Puma for three and a half years, as can be seen from her profile on the LinkedIn career network. Most recently, she held the position of the Head of International Wholesale at the laundry provider Schiesser.
