The communication agency Haebmau based in Munich and Berlin has secured a majority stake in Heroes & Heroines GmbH, which is also active in this area.

With the participation, the PR agency based in Berlin and Vienna could expand its network and its opportunities for growth in German-speaking countries, the companies announced on Thursday. The aim is to jointly expand the service for holistic brand communication.

“A varied, future-oriented service portfolio and highly specialized expertise in the different divisions of brand communication has always been the core identity of Heroes & Heroines,” said Kira Stachowitsch, co-founder of Heroes & Heroines. “The new collaboration with Haebmau allows us to further develop this focus with a global look and at the same time to sharpen the strong agency profile in the field of impact/purpose brands and design.”

Stachowitsch founded the agency in 2012 together with Clemens Steinmüller. The 20-member team is currently looking after: inside such as Samsung, VIU Eyewear, Waterdrop, Tony’s Chocolonely and the OnIvers group with the brands Calzedonia, Intimissimi, Intimissimi Uomo, Tenzenis and Falconeri.

“This partnership is an important step for Haebmau and an important milestone on our way to the Community Powerhouse for lifestyle communication in German-speaking countries,” said Sebastian Warschow, board member of Haebmau AG. “It enables us to expand our services, to strengthen our market position and to use the synergies between our teams to create innovative, tailor -made communication solutions for our customers.”

The Haebmau communication agency, founded in 1988, specializes in the areas of PR, events, social media and influencer marketing. She currently looks after 80 customers: inside and employs 120 employees. The portfolio includes brands such as Adidas, Coty and MCM as well as the fashion films Primark and the online retailer Zalando. Last year, the AG achieved a fee of around 10 million euros.
