A striking moment in the first half was the early switch from Neville Ogidi Nwankwo. The central defender made the violation from which the penalty kick of the 1-0 followed. Correia announced afterwards that Ogidi Nwankwo was not sacrificed because of his error. “He applied for the switch himself. He couldn’t turn on anymore. Then I will not leave him on the field.”
Next weekend there will be international football and so Telstar will not play. The next match is therefore on Sunday, October 19. SC Heerenveen then visits Velsen-Zuid. Kick -off is at 12.15 pm.
