Handball Bundesliga club VfL Gummersbach has found what they are looking for in the back area and has signed the Portuguese international Joao Gomes.
The 22-year-old comes from Sporting CP from Lisbon and signed a contract with the Oberbergische until 2028. This was announced by the table seventh of the previous season on Wednesday.
