Guirassy “honored” by interest from FC Bayern

Serhou Guirassy from VfB Stuttgart has been linked with a move to FC Bayern. The center forward shouldn’t be averse, but there’s a catch.

VfB Stuttgart’s top scorer Serhou Guirassy can definitely imagine a move to FC Bayern in the summer. “Bild” learned this from the attacker’s closest environment. He feels “honored” that the German record champions have expressed interest.

According to “Sport Bild”, the Munich-based team has now decided internally to make an advance and initiate talks in the coming weeks. According to media reports, Guirassy can leave the Swabians early due to a contractual exit clause. The sum is said to be 20 million euros, and VfB Stuttgart is already aware of FC Bayern’s plans, according to the sports paper.

Premier League instead of FC Bayern for Serhou Guirassy?

Nevertheless, according to “Bild”, there is apparently still some residual doubt about the 27-year-old striker. Guirassy does not want to give up his regular player status through a possible transfer to Bayern. In the 4-3-2-1 system that dominates Munich, Harry Kane would also be in place next season. Serhou Guirassy would probably only be a top-class replacement unless FC Bayern switches to a line-up with a dual leadership.

Meanwhile, other top international clubs have long since expressed their interest in the Guinean. According to the report, Guirassy continues to dream of a move to the Premier League; he was recently linked with a transfer to English record champions Manchester United.

Serhou Guirassy signed a contract until 2026 with VfB Stuttgart last summer after his one-year loan ended. He has scored an impressive 28 goals in 37 Bundesliga games for the Swabians so far. In the current season he scored 17 times in 15 league games.
