Guido den Attrekker, editor -in -chief of Story and expert in Shownieuws, opens the attack on Arjen Lubach. “Who are those people who like him except those on the laughing band?”
Arjen Lubach is extra under a magnifying glass now that he is one of the stars of RTL 4. He started this week with a commercial copy of his successful NPO program, but certainly does not know how to appeal to everyone. For example, Johan Derksen cannot smile about it yet and so Guido also takes the pick -up to him.
No grin
It’s just moderate TV, Guido snifters X. “Who are those people who like Lubach except those on the laughing band? Are it looking now but the only laughable thing about it is how bad it is. Not yet a grin. The high viewing figures must come from the left; it is not so RTL amusement. But the TV incrowd loves it.”
Huh? But RTL said that Arjen has no laughing tape at all? “100% laughing band. That RTL denies that, says nothing 😉”
Not fun at all
Rens Muller, editorial chef of the Gooi- en Eemlander, then says that he also finds Arjen horrible. “Already thought that I am the only one who doesn’t like Lubach at all. Fortunately, get support.”
Mediaciticus Victor Vlam believes RTL about that laughing band. He writes on X: “I suspect that there has been room for more people in the audience. That makes it harder laughter. It is the same studio as before, but the decor has been turned ninety degrees compared to the old decor. But this is all based on what I see on television.”
“So stupid!”
Nonsense, according to private boss Evert Santegoeds. He does hear a laughing band, he says in his podcast. “That laughing band is so stupid! It is very annoying, I think.”
He also finds it uncomfortable that Beau van Erven Dorens was hailing his brand new colleague after his first broadcast. “Beau had laughed a lot about it and that surprises me, because Beau never understands a joke.”
Utmost
Johan Derksen Boycot Arjen. “I have done my utmost to like Lubach before and I can’t do it. A nice boy, because he once introduced himself nicely here in the hallway. A very nice boy, but if he is in a talk show: they don’t exist,” he sniffs in Today Inside.
Arjen also recently delivered a very boring performance at Eva Jinek. “He has no texts, he is not funny, he is sitting there like a salt bag and has nothing to report.”
Boring lubach
In fact, Arjen is especially good at reading the autocue, he continues. “He has quite a good editorial team, a bunch of semi-intellectuals that have slightly different subjects than we do. Who taps that faithfully on an autocue and he arrives with a suit, the boring Lubach, he reads it and he pretends he likes it and a laughing band behind it does the best.”
According to Wilfred Genee, Arjen does more than that, but Johan says: “He will have a role there, but I think it is a bit poor that someone reads jokes of the autocue and is guided by a laughing band.”
Laughing strap
Johan also does not believe RTL about that laughing band. “Come on, that’s a laughing band. (…) It is the same smile every time. But again: there is a very big target group for it. (…) I also wish him a lot of success and he does not hurt anyone, but it is not that I am a regular viewer, because I always find it the same. I can’t laugh at it.”
René van der Gijp: “That Beau thought it was very good man.”
Wilfred: “Beau thought it was good, right?”
Johan: “Yes, but that is so transparent. Would he also be from RTL then?”
René: “I think, but he thought it was very good.”
