Prisoners in the Point Blanche prison on Sint Maarten were locked up in their cells without food on Saturday until well after noon, because no prison keeper appeared at work. They have been locked up since Friday afternoon. Justice Minister of Sint Maarten Nathalie Tackling calls the incident “unacceptable.”
