One of the five students is Youp Alblas from Borger. He talks about the message of the documentary, at RTV 1: “We want to tell stories in the documentary from the perspective of the people. So not if Westerners tell how pathetic these people are, but rather show how people find the drive to continue and pick up their lives under these harsh circumstances. The focus is mainly on the beauty of this community, such as the culture and the passion for dancing and football,” says Alblas enthusiastically.
