“Just provide clarity, with the results of the descriptive research. Lift the no-regret measures, if that is possible. If that is not possible, set out a process, with a term so that local residents have a perspective. Now they have no perspective,” Vanassche adds. “And the concern is only increasing. Because what is going to happen here? Are they going to remediate here? Are they going to dump additional sludge? That is all very unclear to people.”
