Grillroom Sofram on the Rembrandt gallery in Roosendaal has to close three months from the municipality. On Monday night there was another explosion at the eatery. That was already the sixth time in just two months that an attack was committed at the case. The grillroom had to close often on the order of the municipality, but not before that long.
The explosion took place on Monday night around half past four. The enormous bang must have been heard far into the area. Explosions took place four times before at the Grillroom. In addition, last week, in the night from Thursday to Friday, shot several times on the windows of the building. According to the police, that happened around four o’clock.
The municipality emphasizes that the closure is not a punishment, but ‘a protective measure for the environment’.
Because of all the unrest, the municipality decided several times to close the case for some time. This in the hope that peace would return to the Rembrandt gallery. The owner was disappointed by that measure. “I am the victim and then my case will be closed,” Recep Çelik sighed at the end of June.
